Hikers, bicyclists and horseback riders of all ages and abilities can enjoy the Trailway. Because it is a reclaimed railroad bed, it has flat grades and gentle curves. Western Heritage Park attempts to answer the question, "How much beauty and variety can you pack into a postage stamp-sized piece of land?" The WHiP (as it is affectionately called) is blessed with good genes--a creek surrounded by hard woods, rolling terrain, epic rocks, and colorful history. The approximately 4.5 miles of trail is open to biking, hiking, walking, and trail running. CLICK HERE for maps and more information on the trails!
